If looking for somewhere to stay in Sedona you have stylish hotels with stunning views of Red Rocks Country, spa resorts, and less expensive inns.
There is no shortage of good places to stay in Sedona, especially if you want one of the more expensive luxury resorts. The hotels here compete with each other to offer the best views and facilities. Some are right in the town, others on the edges, so it’s a good idea to think about where you want to be based. There are less expensive options too, if your budget is more limited.
Where to Stay in Sedona
L’Auberge de Sedona
One of the classiest resorts is L’Auberge de Sedona, whose restaurant is also among the best in Sedona. It combines a quiet setting with also being close to the town. It’s ideal if you like space as it offers cottages and villas, with extra-large rooms, and lovely views of the surrounding red rocks.
The Lodge at Sedona
The Lodge at Sedona has been voted amongst Arizona’s best bed and breakfasts, and has a more charming old-fashioned look to it when compared to the modern resorts. It is in a very peaceful setting to the west of the town center, yet still within walking distance. It has slightly more limited views than some places, but does offer an impressive breakfast.
Enchantment Resort
If you don’t want to be based right in town then the Enchantment Resort is out in beautiful Boynton Canyon. It has superb facilities and its Mii amo Spa is one of the best in the region.
Amara Resort and Spa
The Amara Resort and Spa has won many awards, including being among the best spas in the USA and one of the world’s best places to stay. It’s slightly out of the town but has its own restaurant and music five nights a week.
Adobe Grand Villas
The Adobe Grand Villas is suitably named as it does have larger-than-average rooms, some with balconies where you can relax and look right onto the red rocks which make Sedona so special. It has been chosen as one of the Top 25 Hotels in the USA.
The Suites at Sedona
The Suites at Sedona is a romantic bed and breakfast inn, whose room rates are similar to the luxury resorts. One reason for that is the outstanding personal service, and the inn has won numerous awards including the Best B&B in the USA several times from TripAdvisor. That’s not a bad accolade!
Desert Quail Inn
At the more budget end, the Desert Quail Inn offers some rooms for under $100 a night, and is located in Oak Creek Village, about seven miles (11 kms) south of Sedona. This means you are a short way away from the best shops and restaurants, but you are surrounded by the Coconino National Forest and close to Bell Rock and other natural features.
