Best Restaurants in Green Valley
Brindi’s
This newish place took over the premises of the former Javelina Run, at the south-east corner of the Continental shopping mall. It’s been turned into a delightfully original Mediterranean/Middle Eastern bistro-style restaurant. which has been getting glowing review from everyone. They have their own wood-fired oven where they make the Turkish equivalent of pizzas, called pida, and where they also bake their own baklava – do leave room for some for dessert. Their shish kebabs are wonderful, and they offer some unusual drinks, like pomegranate or hibiscus teas, and Turkish coffee.

Taco Giro
Although this is part of an Arizona chain, with no fewer than four outlets in Tucson alone, it’s been a welcome addition to the Green Valley dining scene. Taking over from Domino’s in the Green Valley Country Club Estates, this Mexican restaurant has been highly praised for the quality of its food and for offering something different from the usual local Mexican menus. If you like your steak then their rib-eye won’t disappoint, but they have quite a range of seafood dishes, like shrimp in garlic butter or tuna with scallops and cured shrimp with mango, cucumber, and avocado. They’ve a wide drinks menu, too, from micheladas to margaritas with some classy tequilas on offer as well.
